The children’s departments cater for children up to 12 years old (Pre – teens).The department main purpose is ”To teach the children the Christian doctrine as an instruction for righteousness in accordance with the Holy Bible”; Children are taught the word of God and to know the love of God and Jesus. Children are encouraged and learn through group discussion, debates, quiz’s recitation, role-play, videos, question and answers sessions etc.

Weekly Sunday school
Sunday school classes are taught during regular Sunday service, the children are grouped by age 0-2; 2-6; 7- 9 and 10-12 children graduate into the youth church at age 13.Each class follows an annually prepared syllabus incorporating materials from Bible Educational Services and UCB book of Hope.
Children’s day is held annually on Saturday in August.The planned programme is held indoors and some times out doors.Indoors activities afford the children opportunities to participate activities such as, bible quiz, drama, sword drill, musicals, talent show and so on.The outdoor activities is held as a sport days which includes various race – relay, 100 metres egg & spoon, sack etc also football match table games (ludo, chess, snake & ladders etc all this in the mist of barbeque
Father / Mothers day
On Father and mothers day – the children express appreciation to all parents by rendering poems, songs directed at the occasion
During the summer vacation the children are taken out on day trips, the children have had trips to Lego land, Thorpe Park, and a number of boat trips to the countryside.
The end of the year festive starts with children participating in the church carol service rendering both traditional and contemporary Christmas songs In addition, to round the festive period up a Christmas party’s held where the love of Jesus Christ is celebrated with wining, dining, and distribution of gifts to all children for the year.

Our children have been demonstrating their acts of charity by visiting the local elderly home during Christmas periods. At every opportunity, they also fundraise to support our friends at EVELINA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, TEARFUND and some charities in Nigeria.
