From the Pastor’s Desk
Welcome to Christ Apostolic Church, Surrey Docks! A church in the heart of God and His purpose. A home away from home, a lighthouse in the midst of darkness and an oasis in the midst of deserts. Welcome home!
CAC, Surrey Docks has a five core ministerial focus which rules on everything we do as a church and District headquarter, this is derived from Matthew 28:18-20. They are Word, Worship, Witnessing, Welfare and Warfare (the 5Ws). These are all aimed towards producing the God kind of corporate fruitfulness we crave for in the church and in individual lives.
Our core vision statement is “empowering souls and imparting lives” and this is taken from Luke 4:18-19. Every seed needs power to germinate and eventually to become a fruit producer. The soil must be rich in humus and well aerated, there must be water available as well as sunlight. Too little or too much of this could destroy the growth of the seed, everything must be in the right quantity. CAC, Surrey Docks provides you with perfect opportunities and conditions to grow and realise your potentials in Christ.
The church hierarchy has a five fold responsibility to provide all our members with a prayerful and assured spiritual covering, a dedicated pastoral welfare programme, a strong mentoring through our house fellowships, a caring and conducive atmosphere for worship and spiritual growth; and a sound opportunity for close fellowship with each other, within and outside the church.
In this wise, the church also expects every member to play their God ordained role. Fruitfulness is God’s expectation from every creation and that is our expectation from every member of God’s church too. Our members are those who contribute their quality time, substantial finance and their spiritual gifts to the progress of the church in supporting, praying and promoting unity within the church. They are the God loving, Christ’s sharing and Spirit filled people and they walk in their dominion mandate! This mandate is a five fold direction given to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue and have dominion.
I pray you continue to walk in dominion now and always in Jesus’ name.
